BSBC’s England Boxing Amateur Home Show: A Day of Firsts, Fierce Fights, and Support
On November 3rd, Bil Sha Boxing Club (BSBC) proudly held our latest England Boxing Amateur home show at Haverstock School. The event brought together an exciting mix of young talent, supportive families, and dedicated fans of the sport.
For many of our young amateur boxers, this was their first time stepping into the ring for an official bout—a monumental experience marking the beginning of their boxing journeys. All amateurs remember their first moment in the spotlight, and we’re grateful to have been there to support the next generation of boxers.
It was a day filled with impressive bouts, growth, and the kind of courage only found inside the ring. Here’s a quick roundup of the exciting day.
A Snapshot of the Home Show
Boxing clubs from across London and beyond brought skilled fighters and enthusiastic supporters.
The gym buzzed with energy as friends, family, and fellow boxers cheered on the athletes, making it a meaningful, community-driven event—the kind we’re known for here at BSBC.
This event was a fantastic success thanks to the teamwork at BSBC, with a special shoutout to our dedicated Amateur Boxing Coaching Team for their outstanding effort!
Standout Moments At The England Boxing Amateur Home Show
There were some standout moments that made the event truly unforgettable.
Raahil and Tebaldo, two rising stars, faced their very first official bouts, showing impressive skill and determination. It was a significant milestone for them, and they handled the challenge with bravery and heart.
However, the “Fight of the Night” honour goes to Eric, who captivated the audience with his grit, skill, and relentless drive.
Jose also deserves a nod for delivering a performance that went beyond his experience level. His poise and depth of skill wowed everyone in attendance.
Every young boxer who entered the ring should feel proud. Boxing isn’t just about results; it’s about courage, resilience, and effort—qualities each fighter showed.
We applaud them for their hard work and for giving the crowd an impressive display of amateur boxing. We can’t wait to see what comes next!
A Big Thankyou To Everyone Involved
Our Head Amateur Boxing Coach, Tom, prepared our fighters, provided mentorship, and fine-tuned each boxer’s skills.
We must also give a huge shoutout to Costa, our Club Head Coach, who oversaw the entire event with passion and dedication. You can always count on Costa to bring the energy and passion!
Additionally, coaches Joe and Aaron brought expertise and enthusiasm to the amateur team, ensuring each fighter was well-prepared and motivated. We owe much of the day’s success to this incredible coaching team and their commitment to fostering young talent.
Lastly, our heartfelt thanks to sponsors Allen Goldstein, Sherlock Homes, and Clean and Clear. Their generosity made this event possible, giving our young fighters a platform to shine and helping BSBC continue to support future boxers.
Looking To The Future
In closing, thank everyone—boxers, families, friends, coaches, sponsors, and fans—who made this home show a success.
We look forward to many more events like this as we continue to nurture, inspire, and celebrate BSBC’s young talent.
Here’s to the future of boxing and to every young fighter who embodies the sport’s courage, discipline, and heart.
